Russell Evans is a visual poet, artist and author based in South West England. He has a doctorate in visual poetry and teaches creative writing at University of Plymouth, England. He has written two books on filmmaking for Focal Press (Amazon author page) and as a journalist wrote many features for film and technology magazines. His poetry comics have been published in poetry journals including Heavy Feather, 3am, Iterant, Hudson River Poets and CWJP New York. He has exhibited his art in New York, Italy, England and Netherlands. Evans's latest book is a collection of visual poetry comics, Cut Off Your Credit, published June 2025 with Raw Earth Ink (USA).
